How it all began
It was May of 2021. COVID mandates were dropped, and the city was alive again! Nicole and Chris were searching for a connection on Hinge when all of a sudden Chris’s profile appeared. Nicole’s opening line was “Wow, you have great hair.” Chris was immediately flattered and intrigued by Nicole’s photos that showed off her love of life and travel.

He was a little nervous about meeting a flight attendant. What if her schedule would be too hard to manage? He decided to take the chance and set up a date. They talked for hours over drinks on a school night and knew that there was an attraction and more to learn about each other. Chris got some liquid courage and said to himself, “screw it, I’m going to go in for a kiss,” but was stealthily dodged by Nicole! He may have had a little too much liquid courage on night one, but that didn’t deter Nicole in the slightest.

Fast forward 4 years… they strengthened each other in ways they never thought possible and grew into the couple that they had always dreamt about. They did some world traveling, rescued their precious dog Ruthie, and settled down in their beautiful home in Portage Park. Now they’re ready to make it official.
